We’re on a mission to visit all the playgrounds in the Greater Omaha Metro area! This directory includes Omaha parks and playgrounds as well as playgrounds in surrounding communities, including Bellevue, Council Bluffs, Elkhorn, Gretna, La Vista, and Papillion, as well as many awesome parks in Pottawattamie County in Iowa.

Below you’ll find our favorite parks to start you off your own park adventure, as well as a search bar to help you find a park by preference. So if you want a park with turf instead of sand, include that in your query. Same goes for accessibility, bathroom facilities, easy parking, etc.

And at the end of this directory, you’ll find a curated map of ALL the playgrounds (and spray grounds). Use it on the go or use it to plan a day trip. We included some parks outside the Metro area that we think make an interesting day trip, not just for the playground, but for what else you’ll find there.
