Description

Discovery Playground is located at the Lewis & Clark Landing, which is part of the Omaha RiverFront. If you ask 100 kids to design the ideal playground, I imagine it would look something like it. There are rockets to climb up and slide down, mini ziplines, musical instruments to drum, a little water feature, and so many things to climb. There are swings, but not like traditional swings; they’re more like porch swings that more than one person can enjoy.

Parents will like that it’s mostly turf and that it’s fully enclosed with only one way in and one way out. There are some spots to sit at that are in the shade, but most of the playground is not shaded.
