Fairmount Park

Fairmount Park is a brand new park with a nice splash pad in a quiet area. There are only port-a-potties and not a lot of shade options. Be cautious on the winding narrow road to the park.

The playground equipment includes four slides: Three curvy and one straight tunnel. There are three traditional swings and one baby swing. There are many climbing areas, bridges and rope bridges, and stepping stone areas.

In regard to accessibility, there are flat areas and wide sidewalks. There are some activity boards lower to ground, as well.

There isn’t a lot of shade for the playground or splash pad, though there is a gazebo across the parking lot at the splash pad. There are picnic tables available but they are not shaded. There are trees further back from the playground and splash pad areas.
