Blondo Ridges

This is one of the nicest parks in the west Omaha area. It is new and there is something for every age group. There are grassy hills that kids like to roll on. It is a neighborhood park but it’s popular so there is always life at that park. There’s a separate baby playground area. 

The equipment includes three big slides: One tunnel, one racer, and one curvy. There is also a baby slide in the baby playground. There are two traditional swings, one baby swing, one accessible swing, and one saucer swing. This is one of the only (perhaps THE only) playground with Hot Wheels tracks.

The park is very new and the equipment is contemporary. The rubber padding makes the playground more accessible than most, though there aren’t many accessible features except for one swing. 

Most of the playground equipment areas are shaded, plus there is a pavilion with four picnic tables underneath. There are benches around the playground for parents but they are not shaded.
