American Heroes Park
Description
American Heroes Park has every piece of playground equipment you could ever imagine. You want slides? There are short slides and tall slides. There are tunnel slides, curvy slides, straight slides, and racer slides. Swings? There are a variety of swings, including traditional swings, baby swings, adaptive swings, and a saucer swing. The equipment is in amazing condition.
There’s too many features to name, but this playground has teeter totters, balance toys, sensory play areas, Ninja Warrior-type walls, spider webs and climbers, ziplines, bouncers, and Movmnt Electronic Play. The park also has communication boards.
I have never seen a playground this accessible before. I was AMAZED! There are ramps onto the equipment. There are wide platforms. There are sensory and activity boards. There are gliders, rockers, and bridges that are designed for wheelchair users. I could go on and on.
The park provides shade, including awnings with benches underneath, shady areas on the equipment and underneath equipment. There is also a pavilion that provides a lot of shade and has many picnic tables.
American Heroes Park is our new favorite park. My daughter has been asking if we can go back every day since we went.
