Description
This is such a fun, newer boat themed playground that’s right on Carter Lake! There is a main playground structure and a separate toddler structure. There are regular, accessible, and baby swings, enclosed curvy slide and toddler racer slides, spinning climber and seated merry-go-round, see-saw, bouncy balance beam, and tons of boat wheels for kids to play pretend captain.
The larger playground structure has wide passageways and a ramp leading up to it, so it is wheelchair accessible. The playground surface is rubber, so no sand or mulch will get stuck in shoes, is more accessible for disabled friends, and is easier for babies new to walking. AND there’s a bonus splashpad right next to the playground!
There are a lot of places for shade. There are two large pavilions with picnic tables underneath. The playground structures have built-in shades on them.
