Blue Man Group is a unique show the defies categorization. My first experience with the show was several years ago, I attended as a reviewer, with my husband as a date.

Blue Man Group is part comedy and part concert, with a good dose of audience interaction.
It was funny, that’s what I remember most. And unexpected. With good music.
The funny in the show came primarily from audience interaction. There were some hams in our audience who had us all laughing hard.
What exactly is the show? I can tell you what it’s not. It’s not a Broadway musical, nor a scripted comedy. You won’t hear the Blue Men say a word.

It was a fun date night, if you like laughing and feeling happy.
Blue Man Group is coming back to Omaha, Oct. 24-26 at the Orpheum Theater for four shows only. I’ve been waiting for its return because this time around, I’m taking my oldest son.
He’s almost 5.
(I should probably tell my husband he’s not going this time…)
We’ll see how it goes. It’s not super long – about 90 minutes without intermission and it’s nonstop fun. I’m pretty sure he’ll enjoy the physical humor, the drumming and strange Blue Men.
Who would you take?

A show that has some drums, physical humor and bright colors? Oh yes, yes he will. :)
