These Omaha Pop-Up Bars Will Get You In The Holiday Spirit

Pop-up bars, much like pop-up shops, are limited time experiences. So when I say “pop-up bar,” take that as a sign that you have just a short time to visit it. And during the holidays, you have several ridiculously festive holiday pop-up bars in Omaha to choose from. Hope these help you get into the holiday spirit.

Barnato’s Speakeasy Pop-Up

Barnato, 225 N. 180th St., suite 95, has decked out their speakeasy room for the holiday season. The holiday cheer starts at 6 p.m. every Wednesday through Saturday through December.

Holiday Hut

Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel has brought out the over-the-top holiday decor for its Holiday Hut this year. The pop-up bar, located at the hotel’s Pool Club, is already open and serving seasonal cocktails in an Instagram-worthy setting on Thursdays & Sundays from 4 to 10 p.m. and Fridays & Saturdays from 4 p.m. to midnight through Dec. 30.

Blitzen

Housed in the Blackstone District’s not-so-secret speakeasy, below Blackstone Social at 3910 Farnam St., Blitzen is one of the OG of holiday pop-up bars in Omaha. Along with all the holiday decor you can handle, Blitzen will have new holiday cocktails to enjoy.

Blitzen opens Nov. 17.

Under the Mistletoe

Max & Joe’s, a Belgian beer tavern at 3576 Farnam St., is getting a festive makeover for the season. Starting Nov. 25, the pop-up bar Under the Mistletoe will open. The hours will be Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays starting at 6 p.m.
