Easter In Omaha: Easter Egg Hunts, Easter Brunch & Easter Bunny Fun (2026)
The Easter Bunny season in Omaha is typically spread out over three weekends. There are Easter Egg Hunts scattered around Omaha in 2026, as well as Easter story times and activities at various venues. Read on to find a fun Easter event near you, and if you’re more interested in good food, see where you can make a reservation for Easter Brunch.

When are the Easter Egg Hunts?
Is there anything that tops hunting for Easter eggs? I didn’t think so. Here’s the rundown of where and when neighborhood Easter egg hunts start:
- Tiny Tot Easter Egg Hunt at Montclair Community Center, 2304 S. 135th Ave., is April 1 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The egg hunt will be followed by crafts and Toddler Gym Time. The event is free and open to kids ages 6 and under.
- Eggstravaganza with Florence Community Center and Omaha Public Library is April 2 from 10 a.m. to noon at the community center, 2920 Bondesson St.
- Spring EGGstravaganza at Lauritzen Gardens, 100 Bancroft St., is April 4 from 9 a.m. to noon. There are two separate egg hunt arenas for ages 1-5 and ages 6-12. Egg hunts will run every half hour and the last egg hunt will be at 11:30 a.m. Activities include an eco-friendly egg hunt, crafts, and prizes. The spring-themed crafts take place in the classroom of Sofia’s Play Garden. Event is included with admission.
- St. Luke United Methodist Church, 11810 Burke St., will have an Easter egg hunt on April 4 at 10 a.m. on the church lawn. Inside, there will also be snacks, crafts and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
- Easter Eggstravaganza at Faith Journey Church, 2920 N. 118th St., Suite 104, is April 4 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. with an Easter egg hunt, crafts, games, cake walk, story and prizes.
- The City of La Vista’s Easter Egg Hunt featuring more than 20,000 eggs is April 4 at the La Vista Sports Complex soccer fields, 7346 S. 66th St., La Vista, Neb. Gates open at 1 p.m. and the hunt begins promptly at 2 p.m. Arrive early to allow time to park and walk to the field. All age groups will start hunting for eggs at the same time. Each age group will have five golden eggs that can be turned in for an “egg”tra special surprise. Meet the Easter Bunny before the hunt. The city is collecting food and/or cash donations for the Neighbor Good Community Pantry.
- Black Police Officers Association of Omaha and Kappa Alpha Psy’s Easter Egg Hunt is April 4 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Miller Park Pavilion, 2707 Redick Ave. The free event will have raffle prizes, free food, and a bounce house.
- There’s a Paper Easter Egg Hunt on April 4 at participating stores at Shadow Lake Towne Center, 72nd Street and Highway 370, Papillion, Neb. Find a paper egg in a participating store, turn it in at the counter of that store, pick a prize-filled egg (while supplies last). Participating stores include JCPenney, PetSmart, Riddle’s Jewelry, Chocolaterie Stam, Lane Bryant, and Back Nine Golf.
- Big Grove Brewery, 4601 Catalyst Court, will have an Easter Egg Hunt for all ages on April 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. They’ll provide baskets; eggs get turned in for candy after the basket is full. Kids also get half-off meals with purchase of an entree.
- Ashland Brewing Co., 810 S. Ninth Ave., Ashland, Neb., will have an Easter Egg Hunt for kids and adults on April 5 at 1 p.m.; doors open at 11 a.m. There are five hidden crowlers up for grabs in the adults’ hunt.
- There will be an Easter Egg Hunt after the Omaha Storm Chasers’ game on April 5 at Werner Park. It’s open to kids ages 12 and under. Game starts at 2:05 p.m.
Where can I find Easter Bunny in Omaha?
Wanting to meet the Easter Bunny or get some pictures taken with the bunny? This is the section that will have the details on Omaha area Easter Bunny events.
- The Easter Bunny is at Westroads Mall (on the Main Level near Von Maur), 10000 California St., daily from March 20 through April 4. Pet pictures with the Easter Bunny are Mondays and Tuesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. Reservations can be made in advance.
- Easter Bunny photos at Cabela’s, 12703 Westport Parkway, La Vista, Neb., and Bass Pro Shops, 2901 Bass Pro Drive, Council Bluffs, Iowa, are March 21 & 22, and March 28 through April 5. Hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturdays and Good Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (except for Easter Sunday when it’s 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.). from Kids receive a free bass Easter egg with a prize, while supplies last. Families get a free 4×6 photo with the reservations; additional packages are available for a fee.
- Meet the Easter Bunny at We Rock The Spectrum, 10717 Virginia Plaza, Suite 113, La Vista, Neb., on April 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. The meet-and-greet fun with the bunny, surprise mystery eggs, and open play are all included in the regular admission. No preregistration needed.
- Get your pictures with the Easter Bunny at Kipp’s Bunny Bash on April 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kipp Omaha, 14445 W. Center Road, Suite #101. Enjoy bunny quests, balloon drop dance parties, and raffles throughout the event.
- Big Play Saturday – Easter Bunny Party is April 4 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Fat Brain Toys, 16909 Burke St., Suite 131. Decorate eggs and get pictures with the Easter Bunny. FREE
- Photos with the Easter Bunny is April 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Shadow Lake Towne Center (next to Old Navy), 7902 Towne Center Parkway, Suite 117, Papillion, Neb.
- Take photos of your dog with the Easter Bunny on April 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Omaha Dog Bar, 1231 S. 14th St. Photos will be taken outside, if weather cooperates. No reservations needed; day rates apply to non-members.
- Take free photos with the Easter Bunny on April 4 at noon at Nebraska Furniture Mart, 700 S. 72nd St., and get a free gift (while supplies last).
- The Easter Bunny will be at the Easter Extravaganza on April 4 from noon to 2 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m. at Skate City, 1220 S. Fort Crook Road, Bellevue, Neb. There will be door prizes. Admission is $8 (doesn’t include skate rentals or gym).

2026 Easter brunches in Omaha
It’s an Easter tradition: Enjoying a grand Easter brunch or Easter brunch buffet in Omaha. Here are some of the best Easter brunch options this year. You’ll want to make reservations early as many of these will sell out.

- Easter Brunch at Lauritzen Gardens, 100 Bancroft St., is April 4 and 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations include a brunch buffet in the visitor and education center, plus admission to the garden. Tickets are $59 for ages 13+, $44 for ages 3 to 12, and free for children 2 and under. Members, and those covered under their membership category, receive a $10 discount per ticket. Reservations are required.
- Lemon Tree Cafe, 7614 Main St., Ralston, Neb. will have an Easter Brunch Buffet on April 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and includes a biscuits and gravy bar. Cost is $20 for adults and $12 for kids.
- Upstream Brewing Co., 514 S. 11th St., will have an Easter Brunch Buffet on April 5 from 9 to 1:45 p.m. Cost is $35 for adults, $20 for kids ages 12 and under, and free for ages 3 and under.
- Charlie’s On The Lake, 4150 S. 144th St., will have an Easter Brunch Buffet on April 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with an Easter Bunny appearance. Each adult buffet comes with a complimentary Bloody Mary or Mimosa. Cost is $38.95 for adults, $14.95 for kids (ages 6-10), and free for kids ages 5 and under.
- Easter Sunday Brunch is April 5 at the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel’s Gold Coast Ballroom, 302 S. 36th St., features a buffet, a dedicated kids buffet, Easter Bunny appearances, photo ops, balloon animals, toy-filled egg giveaways, and even a petting zoo just outside the ballroom. Seatings available at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.
- Nick’s Quorum in the Hilton, 1001 Cass St., will have Easter Brunch on April 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring the chef’s special three-course prix fixe menu for $34.95 per person.
- Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District, 222 N. 10th St., will have Easter Brunch Buffet on April 5 with seatings at 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. featuring freshly baked pastries, made-to-order eggs benedict station, carving station with herb-crusted prime rib & lamb, and a smoked salmon display. Little ones can enjoy Easter egg cookie decorating and other festive activities. Cost is $20-$58.
- Gorat’s Steak House Easter Brunch Buffet is April 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 4917 Center St. featuring a prime rib carving station, ham, pastries, and breakfast items. Cost is $45 for adults, $20 for kids ages 11 and under. For reservations, call (402) 551-3733.
- Easter Brunch at Beacon Hills, 6750 Mercy Road, is April 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Entrees include herb-roasted leg of lamb and chicken & waffles. Reservations recommended.
- Easter Brunch Buffet at Gather in Omaha, 1108 Howard St., is April 5 with seatings at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., with hot and cold stations, carving station, desserts, and a kids’ corner. Cost is $39 for adults, $19 for kids ages 6-9, and free for kids ages 5 and under.
- Cascio’s Steakhouse is open on Easter for dinner. Call (402) 345-8313 for reservations.
- Howard’s Charro, 4443 S. 13th St., will have Easter Brunch on April 5 featuring chilaquiles, breakfast burritos, mimosas, Bloody Marys, and fun-sized pancakes for the kiddos.
- Annual Easter Brunch Buffet at Ruhlman’s Steakhouse, 603 US-6, Ashland, Neb., is April 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $32.99 for adults and $14.99 for kids 12 and under. Call (402) 234-7022 for reservations.
