40+ Awesome Halloween Yard Displays In Omaha (UPDATED 2026)

It seems that each year, more Omaha homes go all out on their Halloween displays and decorations, and they’re start to develop fans. I decided this year to seek the best of the best in Halloween home decorations, and share their locations so you can enjoy their spooky lawns and porches. Because “Omaha” is really a large, sprawling metro now, I’ve included neighborhoods in Bellevue, Papillion, and beyond.

UPDATE: This post was first published in 2021. Updates for 2026 have started. Most recent update is Oct. 4, 2026.

Note: When visiting displays that have walk-through elements, remember not to touch. And also remember, these are people’s homes. And finally, remember these are typically dependent on good weather (ie., not a windy day, no rain, etc.).

Yard displays in Midtown and North Omaha

• Crazy Graveyard is an interactive display at 3670 Bedford Ave. Walk up to porch and press the step pads for a surprise. Look for the gorilla to get a treat. Note: Do not knock on door.
• This one’s more centrally located but it’s so far up north, I’m counting it. There’s a medium-sized display at 6504 N. 104th St.
• A Nightmare on Weber Street is located at 8409 Weber St. The display is up nightly, but the haunted house is only open on Halloween night.
• Carnival Evil is a large yard display at 4723 Parker St.
• Catch the medium-sized display at 2014 N. 67th St.
• There’s a big display at 5110 Cass St.
• Z Haunt is a large display at 2716 N. 53rd St.
• There’s a yard display at 1304 S. 52nd St.
• There’s a homemade yard display complete with a graveyard and giant skeleton at 1005 N. 76th St.
• Technically in Iowa, there’s an Ozzy Osborne-themed display at 1217 Lindwood Drive, Carter Lake, Iowa (right on the corner of 13th Street at the entrance of Carter Lake). Operating times are from sunset to 11 p.m.

Halloween yard displays in West Omaha & Southwest Omaha

• Garage of Terror at 3320 S. 152nd Ave. Circle. Opens in October. There’s an interactive yard display is open nightly. The haunted house is open Oct. 23-31s from 7:30 to 10/10:30 p.m.
• Disney’s Haunted Mansion yard display at 167th and Heather Drive will be running Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in October, weather permitting.
• Hell Creek Cemetery yard display at 11310 Y St.
• There’s a big lit display at 1323 S. 137th Ave. I took a funny Reel of this house last year, since the neighbors also got into the Halloween spirit.
• There’s a big display at 5839 S 157th St. from 3 to 11 p.m.
• Brookhaven Boneyard yard display at 6547 S. 110th St.
• Cute light show that’s synced to music at 4418 S. 176th St.
• Large display at 1910 S. 221st St. that’s best seen at night.
• Nightmare on Redwood Street is an interactive yard haunt at 16513 Redwood St.
• The Jack House at the corner of Holling Drive and Walnut Street. The display is on from dusk until 10 p.m. most nights. Here’s a Reel of what the house looked like last year.
• Lost Souls Cemetery will be lit from 7 to 10:30 p.m. daily at 7123 S 101st Ave., La Vista, Neb.
• Look for massive demon spiders at 1862 S. 93rd St.
• See the medium-sized display at 12827 Josephine St.
• There’s an interactive display at 7411 S. 136th St. Clap or scream to make it start.
• There’s a large display at 6640 Cypress Drive. Lights are on nightly. Animatronics will be on every weekend from 7 to 10 p.m. starting Oct. 9 until late Halloween night. Please stay off the grass.
• Hawthorne State Hospital is on view at 4955 S. 176th Circle. For the full effect, check it out on the weekend nights when they have the sound effects, fog, and additional animations.
• Spiders vs. Skeletons: Year 4 is on display at 16317 Westfield Circle. There are creepy scenes, lights, and animated props.
• Halloween Haunted Garage is located at 166th and Briar streets.
• There’s always an epic yard display at 102nd Street and West Center Frontage Road. Here’s a Reel of what it looked like last year.
• The display at 15214 Borman St.  includes a haunted walk-through on Oct. 31. Leading up until that night, there’s plenty of things to see driving by. This yard also has a smaller, scare-free section for little kids.
• Canterberry Cript is located in the backyard of 4301 S. 202nd Ave.
• 26516 Manderson Court, Valley, Neb.

Halloween yard displays in northwest Omaha

• 6504 N. 104th St.
• There’s a large display at 13416 Hillsborough Drive. Nearby, There’s a large display at 13627 Hillsborough Drive. It has some blow-up items, so if it’s windy, those will not be on at night.
• Sister’s Grim is on display at 5735 N. 127th St.
• Out in Bennington, there’s a medium-sized spooky display at 8007 Kilpatrick Parkway. There’s also a large display at 7311 N. 155th Terrace, Bennington, Neb.
• There’s the Halloween Light Show at 18817 Spaulding St., Elkhorn, Neb. It runs nightly through Halloween from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. 
• The display at North 208th and Grand Avenue in Elkhorn, Neb., has a display on from 7 to 10 p.m. om weekdays and from 7 to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Halloween yard displays in Bellevue and South Omaha

• South Omaha Haunted Hill at 36th Avenue and H Street. The yard is open until midnight daily. Stay on the path.
• Houses of Horrors located at 1006 & 1008 Logan Ave., Bellevue, Neb. It opens on Oct. 1. There will be live actors on Friday and Saturday nights.
• The Cornelia Street Home Haunt, located at 2609 Cornelia St., Bellevue, Neb. It will be ready in October. On Halloween night, expect live actors.
• Visit The Final Cut Meat Market at 2802 Mars Circle, Bellevue, Neb., on Halloween for full-size candy and Pokemon packs. There will be more than 50 animatronics on display Halloween night.
• There’s a mid-sized Halloween display at 2605 Blackhawk Drive, Bellevue, Neb., that’s best viewed at night.
• There’s a not-scary display at 3951 High Meadow Lane, Bellevue, Neb.
• There’s a big display open nightly from 7 to 11 p.m. at 2703 Morrie Drive, Bellevue, Neb.
• Yard skeletons change daily at 12210 S. 25th Ave., Bellevue, Neb.
• Catch a spooky display at 14804 S. 17th St., Bellevue, Neb.
• 53rd and Harrison streets
• 7337 Grover St.

Halloween yard displays in Papillion

• Walnut Creek Chateau is on display at 2104 Walnut Creek Drive, Papillion, Neb. Expect both lights in music starting around Oct. 1.
• A kid-friendly spooky display at 912 Crest Road, Papillion, Neb., has a daytime display that lights up at night.
• There’s a big display at 903 S. Madison St., Papillion, Neb.
• Ghouls Garage Halloween is open Friday and Saturday nights in October at 10560 S. 111th St., Papillion, Neb. Hours are from 7 to 10 p.m. It’s a walk-through garage experience with snacks and mocktails for purchase.
• Glowing Ghouls On Crest Ridge display is up at 2101 Crest Ridge Drive, Papillion, Neb. It’s a Disney Haunted Mansion walk-through garage display. Walk-through is open every Friday and Saturday in October from 7 to 10 p.m.; though, they will be closed Saturday, Oct. 24.
• There’s a large nighttime display at 727 Fenwick St., Papillion, Neb.
• South 107th Street and Schram Road, Papillion, Neb.
