But sorting through all of it is tough if all you want to know about are the free trunk or treats or other kid-friendly free events. So, I’ve saved you the time and gathered all the free Halloween trick-or-treat (or trunk or treat) events in Omaha for 2024 into one list. Enjoy!

FREE Omaha Trunk or Treats & Outdoor Trick-or-Treating
- 100 Block Trick or Treat is Oct. 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. along the 100 Block of West Broadway in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
- Trunk or Treat at Diapers 2 Diplomas Learning Center, 5310 S. 52nd St., on Oct. 29 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
- Trunk or Treat hosted by Smile Station Pediatric Dentistry, Omaha Orthodontics, Boystown Pediatrics, Stomp Chomp Roar, Swimtastic, Playful Pines, Cruise Planners, We Rock The Spectrum – Omaha, and Radiant Life is Oct. 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 6801 S. 180th St.
- Trunk N Treat is Oct. 30 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 104 Galvin Road N, Bellevue, Neb.
- Trunk-or-Treat at The Learning Experience Omaha West, 20101 P St., on Oct. 30 from 6 to 7 p.m.
- Trick-or-Treat at Bethany Home & Bethany Heights, 7 Elliot St., Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Oct. 30 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
- A dog-friendly Trunk-or-Treat at The Green Spot Omaha, 1110 S. 71st St., Suite K, is Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Free Indoor Trick-Or-Treating For Kids
- Trick-or-Treat at Bethany Home & Bethany Heights, 7 Elliot St., Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Oct. 30 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Start at either location.
- Halloween Safe Night is Oct. 31 from 4 to 6 p.m. at La Vista Community Center, 8116 Park View Blvd. It’s actually not trick-or-treating this year to avoid long lines; kids will receive a pre-filled bag of candy.
- Trick-or-Treat at Echo Hills Assisted Living & Memory Care, 14509 Echo Hills Drive, La Vista, Neb., on Oct. 31 from 6 to 7 p.m.
