The high-speed bike race, Aksarben Tirc (Crit Nebraska), is Aug. 8 at Aksarben Village. A criterium is a bicycle road race with numerous laps on a short closed circuit. Papillion Twilight Criterium is Aug. 9 in downtown Papillion, with the pro races starting at 2:15 and 3:30 p.m. In addition to races, there will be a Kids Zone with activities like Obstacle Course (Tour De Tirc), Skills Zone (ages 7-12), bike fitting, Strider zone, playground, and UNO Kinesiology.
