Description

Zorinsky Lake is a large park with two playgrounds (read about Zorinsky’s other, fully-inclusive playground here). The southeast playground has been a popular spot in West Omaha for years. It’s a mostly sand-covered playground with a play area for young children, one for older kids, a large climbing structure, and a swing area.

The area for the smaller kids is adorable and more shaded than other parts of this playground. It has a cute drive-through theme, little slides and a plastic tube for climbing and crawling through. The big kid area has similar equipment, but with faster slides and higher things to climb.

The most eye-catching feature of this playground is the climbing net in the center of the playground. Kids can get quite high while climbing! Around the structure are some spinners.

The swing set has several swing types, including traditional swings, two high back swings, and a saucer swing.

There’s a covered picnic area next to the playground. There’s a lot of green space nearby if you’d rather have a picnic on a blanket.
