Cottonwood Park (Papillion)

Cottonwood Park is a neighborhood park in very good condition. The park appears to be well-maintained and clean. There is one main play structure and a swing set. The swing set offers a Konnection swing (mommy-and-me type), two baby swings, and two traditional swings. The ground cover is a mix of sand and rubber padding.

The playground has one straight slide, a curvy slide, a tunnel slide, and a pair of racer slides. There are multiple interactive boards (one being tic-tac-toe and the others are themed either police or firetruck). There are various ladders to climb onto the equipment, including a loop arch and a rung bridge.

The playground itself has a lot of built-in shade, as well as shade underneath. There is a pavilion with picnice tables, and a few other picnic tables throughout the park that are under tree shade. Plenty of tree coverage everywhere. It’s a very shady park!
