Petits Pastry (on 16th I think?) is a longtime family favorite. Recently we've gone to Kanekp with the kids, and I can't say enough about that, great for all ages! Free and in the AC, to boot. AND across the street from coffee/bakery.

Kaneko followed by coffee and pastries = excellent combination! It's been a while since we've had Petits - thanks for the reminder. :) We usually grab a spot near their location for parades just so we could, perhaps, grab a donut or two while we wait.

Perhaps I missed it, but I didn't see a mention of the "Spamalot" production currently running at the nations largest community theatre... The Omaha Community Playhouse! Who wants to walk around outside in the heat when you can grab a beverage, sit and be entertained for a couple of hours in the comfort of air conditioning! The production has been getting rave reviews. Not to be missed.

You're correct, it's not on this month's list. I had it at the end of the May round-up of events: https://ohmyomaha.com/2015/04/30-kid-friendly-events-in-omaha-in-may/. I haven't heard or read a single bad things said about that show - they must've done a fantastic job!
