Get Jolly At These Omaha Holiday Pop-Up Bars In 2025

Pop-up bars, much like pop-up shops, are limited time experiences. So when I say “pop-up bar,” take that as a sign that you have just a short time to visit it. And during the holidays, you have several ridiculously festive holiday pop-up bars in Omaha to choose from. Hope these help you get into the holiday spirit.

2025 Holiday Pop-Up Bars Around Omaha

A holiday pop-up bar is a temporary establishment that opens for a brief period, typically during the holiday season, to offer a unique and festive experience to patrons. In Omaha, these are typically pop-ups inside already established places or just a whole-new look to that establishment…temporary, of course.

When you go to a pop-up bar, expect elaborate holiday-themed decorations. Anything goes. Subtly is not typical. Pop-ups often offer special menus for just that window of time that include seasonal drinks, cocktails, and sometimes food items.

Tiny House is all decked out already. As they describe it, it “looks like Santa’s emotional support bunker.” In addition over-the-top decor, they have holiday-themed cocktails on the menu. Address: 1411 S. 13th St.

Frosty’s at Social opened on Nov. 5. Not much has been shared for this year’s pop-up, but last year Social was decked out with twinkle lights galore, and had craft holiday cocktails and holiday music add to the atmosphere. Address: 1009 S. 192nd St., Elkhorn, Neb.

Deja Vu Lounge has kicked up their pop-up a notch in 2025. It opened the week of Nov. 10. Address: 1021 S. 178th St.

Mercury opened its annual pop-up, Don’t Stop Believin’,” on Nov. 12. Expect uber festive decor and fun drinks (served in fun glasses). Address: 329 S. 16th St.

The Barber Shop, 3910 Farnam St., Suite B, has opened the pop up Christmas At Tiffany’s, with a the iconic Tiffany’s blue and Christmas decorations throughout the speakeasy. Hours are Wednesdays through Sundays from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Christmas has explored all over the place at The Trap Room. A menu will be announced soon. Address: 733 N. 14th St.

A new pop-up in 2025, Sips on 10th is opening their pop-up bar, “One Perfect Christmas,” on Nov. 18. Few details have been announced, but I imagine a lot of bubbly will be involved. “One Perfect Christmas” will run through Jan. 4, 2026. Address: 1022 S. 10th St.

Hideaway Lounge will open their holiday pop-up on Nov. 18. The fun runs through Jan. 2, 2026. Address: 3030 S. 203rd St.

Blackstone Social presents The Grinch’s Lair, a grinchy-themed pop-up that opened on Nov. 19. Hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., Fridays from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Saturdays from noon to 2 a.m. Address: 3910 Farnam St.

Howard & Fine, a speakeasy inside Moe & Curly’s Pub and Grill, 1011 Capitol Ave., is decorated for the season.

A holiday pop-up is planned for both PROOF Whiskey Bar & Craft Cocktails Midtown and
Proof 192 Whiskey Bar & Craft Cocktails, with the start date tentatively announced for Nov. 25 (though it’s been hinted that it may be after Thanksgiving) and ending on Jan. 1, 2026. Addresses: 200 S. 31st Ave., Suite 4102, and 18940 Evans Plaza, Suite 107, Elkhorn, Neb.

The Holiday Hut opens Nov. 26 in the historic Pool Club at Kimpton Cottonwood. There’s the crackling live fireplace centerpiece, over-the-top decorations (wrapped gifts stacked to the ceiling, dangling ornaments overhead), cozy seating with plush blankets and festive pillows, and twinkling lights strewn from every surface. There’s a specialty cocktail menu, with zero-proof options available. Hours are Thursdays through Sundays from 6 to 11 p.m. The Holiday Hut runs through Dec. 31 (closed on Thanksgiving). Address: 302 S. 36th St.

Christmas in the Park: A Nostalgic Christmas opens on Nov. 26 at Secret Park. You gotta love their tagline for it this year, “Making spirits bright (and boozy).” Address: 3207 Leavenworth St.

Cohen & Kelly’s is all decked out for the holidays with Holiday Pop Up 2.0, and has a festive drink menu to match. The pop up runs from Nov. 26 to Jan. 31. Address: 13075 W. Center Road

The holiday pop-up bar, Under The Mistletoe, opens Nov. 28 at Max & Joe’s, the Belgian bar inside Crescent Moon Ale House. Hours are Thursdays through Saturdays starting at 5 p.m. (on Dec. 6, it opens at 6:30 p.m.). Address: 3578 Farnam St. Enter through Crescent Moon

Voodoo Bar opened Buddy’s Elf’d Up on Nov. 28. There’s a holiday drink menu to match the festive interior. Address: 304 N. 168th Circle, Suite 210

Billy O’s Lounge is now Billy O’s Holiday Lounge for the season with a full holiday drinks menu. The bar unveiled their festive decor on Nov. 28. Address: 14242 Fort St.

The Corner Kick: Sports Bar Tacos Tequila becomes Feliz Navidad starting Nov. 29. There will be Christmas cocktails menu and limited-time festive food. Address: 681 N. 132nd St.

Christmas in Catalyst kicked off on Nov. 29 at Catalyst, located inside The Farnam. The holiday menu features nine new cocktails. Address: 1299 Farnam St.

Mula Mexican Kitchen & Tequileria’s first-ever pop-up, Christmas In Cancun, starts on Dec. 1 and runs through Dec. 23. Address: 3932 Farnam St.

Red Lion Lounge has a pop-up in their speakeasy now through Christmas. It’s open Thursdays through Saturdays. Address: 3802 Farnam St.

Meadowlark Lounge is decorated for the holidays. Address: 3302 Leavenworth St.

First Round opens the Christmas pop-up, ReinBeers, on Dec. 3. Address: 3901 Farnam St.

One of the late openers of the season is St. Rick’s Rockin’ Rooftop holiday pop-up at Little Ricky’s Rooftop Bar in the Blackstone District. It’s open through Dec. 31. Address: 148 S 39th St.

There will be a Christmas pop-up bar experience at Bellevue Volunteer Firefighters Banquet Hall on Dec. 19 and 20 starting at 5 p.m. No cover. Proceeds from the nights go to the Bellevue Community Foundation and Light Up Bellevue Projects. Address: 2108 Franklin St., Bellevue, Neb.

Rudy’s – Omaha’s year-round Christmas bar

Fans of Rudy’s Bar, 8503 Maple St., are always quick to let everyone know that they don’t have to wait for pop-up bars. Rudy’s is always ready for Christmas (it’s kinda how you remember your grandparents basement being decorated). The decorations never come down.
