My family’s first experience there was on a Friday afternoon for their weekly Inflatable Fridays event in their awesome pool area.

At the time, my son was uncertain about water, so I thought the Kroc Center would be a great place to get him feeling more comfortable in the water. The zero-depth entry was key, but there’s also a little lazy river, water features for littles in mind, an indoor water slide, and being Friday, lots of inflatables.
We had so much fun!

We’ve been back, but not as frequent as we ought to since it’s a bit of a drive for us. The Kroc Center hosts a lot of events – so one we’ve been to there is the BaconFest. It is as delicious and indulgent as it sounds.
It operates like a community center where a membership/family membership gets you into a lot of classes, events and other activities. If you’re not a member, you can pay for a single-day pass. Below is a list of just a few of the regular highlights with kids and families in mind.
Weekly/Monthly Events
Toddler Tuesdays – Every Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to noon. Play in the gym using the fun balls and scooters (and, on occasion, a small bouncy house!) or at 10:30 enjoy the pool, with toddler-friendly water features and a pint-sized slide. FREE for members and their toddlers; non-members participate by paying a $4 activity fee for your toddler (9 months to 4 years) and the attending parent is FREE.
Inflatable Fridays – Every Friday, 4 to 7:30 p.m. Enjoy a fun night in the pool with inflatable toys ranging from friendly marine animals to super-sized games! Free for members, guests participate by paying the standard drop in fee.
Kidz Kayak Racing – Every Saturday, 2 to 4 p.m. Test your skills and speed…in a kayak! You don’t know how to kayak? No problem, we’ll provide some instruction, then it’s off to the races! For youth ages 8 to 12; must first pass a swim test to participate. Cost: Free to members, Non-members pay standard drop-in fee.
Sunday Fundays – Every Sunday, 1 to 5:30 p.m. Does your family enjoy fun mixed with a little healthy competition? Head to the the pool for water games and prizes! Ring toss, relays, wiggle bridge and splash contests are just a few of the games. Free for members, guests participate by paying the standard drop in fee..

When: Mondays through Thursdays, 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Fridays, 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sundays, 1 to 6 p.m.
