Whitehawk Park

Whitehawk Park includes a small playground on one side of F Street and four baseball fields on the opposite side of F Street. The playground area is dated and sun worn, but offers all of the basic play equipment in working order. There are two straight slides and one curvy slide. There are three climbing features, as well as two traditional swings and two baby swings. There are three spinning features including a large plastic merry-go-round. The spinners appear to be newer than the main play structure and are fun additions. The playground is situated in front of a pond in a nice residential area with plenty of open, grassy space.

There are not a lot of accessible features. There is a wide step onto main play structure and some rubber flooring among the sand.

There’s not much shade except under the main play structure. The park has two benches without shade, and there are no large shade trees, awnings or tables near playground area.
