Westwood Heights Park

Westwood Heights Park has an adorable ocean-themed playground for all ages with a play structure designed to look like a ship. The downside is that the playground is showing its age and could benefit from some updates. Tables were broken as was the viewfinder.

The playground features two slides, climbing structures, monkey bars, ocean-themed spring riders, and sand diggers. There are also infant swings and regular swings. During the summer months, families can enjoy the small ocean-themed splash pad as well. There are two picnic tables under a pavilion, although they appeared broken and unusable. While the park could definitely use some improvements, it was still a fun place to spend time.

The playground isn’t shaded, but you can find shade under the pavilion (however, the picnic tables there are broken). There are also benches under large trees.
