Washington Park

Washington Park is a little park, but one that I think would be a great find if you’re looking for a place for a birthday party. The gazebo covers a lot of picnic tables and overlooks the playground. There was a party going on when we visited so we didn’t want to feel weird and take pictures near them.

The playground equipment consists of different slides, monkey bars, swings and a teeter totter. There are two separate areas for playing; one area is just for climbing and exercise equipment. The other is more of what you’d expect for a playground.

The equipment provided some shade. The park also has a very large pavilion covering picnic tables. There are bathrooms attached to the gazebo.
