Towl Park
Description
Towl Park is more of a neighborhood playground than anything else. The appeal of the playground is its proximity to the Big Papio Trail and a lake.
The playground is sandy, with equipment best suited for younger kids. There are several slides, including a swirly slide, a few ladders to climb, and a couple of bouncers. On my visit, there was a bit of graffiti on some of the playground equipment, but nothing too bad. You can tell the playground is fairly old, without the brightly-colored equipment found at the newer playgrounds.
Towl Park also has a baseball field, tennis courts, and a small basketball court. There are a lot of picnic tables placed near large trees for shade.
