Sunset Park

Sunset Park’s playground is in good condition, and I love the story walk at this park. It’s a unique part of this park. The playground is great for several ages. The playground has several slide (one straight slide, straight racer slides, a larger spiral slide and a tunnel slide). Sunset Park’s swing set has traditional swings, a baby swing, and an accessible swing. Other playground features include diggers, several animal-themed bouncers, Talk Tube, and a story walk. There are also a lot of fun options surrounding the park, including a nearby public pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, etc. 

There are accessible parking spaces and a paved pathway leading to the park. There is some rubber padding leading up to the accessible swing and one of the diggers. The story walk that goes around the perimeter of the park is also accessible.

There’s quite a bit of shade throughout the park. There are shady areas on the playground equipment and underneath the playground equipment. There are trees throughout the park that also provide some shade, and there’s a pavilion that covers some picnic tables.
