Sunny Slope Park
Description
Sunny Slope Park playground is good for kids of all ages, and with lots of other activities around it (baseball field, basketball and tennis courts, pool) there’s something for the whole family. This playground is spaceship themed and the main play structure has one tall enclosed curvy slide, and one small racer slide. There is a swing set of two regular swings, one baby swing, and one accessible swing. There is also a rope climbing structure and spaceship spring. Equipment is well loved, but still has lots of life.
This playground is at the top of a hill. There is a paved sidewalk that leads up to the playground. Although the playground is mostly covered in sand, there is a rubber surface beneath the sand in some areas (such as the swing set). There is one handicap accessible swing.
This playground puts the Sunny in Sunny Slopes. Shade is minimal. There is a covered pavilion at the bottom of the hill, but it is not right next to the playground. There’s not much shade other than that.

Important Information
Additional Info
- No public restrooms near the playground. There are restrooms at the pool, but not open to the public.
- There is free street parking, as well as a small parking lot at the bottom of the hill.
- Since this playground is in the middle of a neighborhood, there are no food options within walking distance. I imagine there are ice cream trucks by the pool once it's open (this review was written in the spring). There is a Dunkin by the entrance of the neighborhood if you need a coffee before the playground.
