Description

Sugar Creek Park is a fun park with so many play options! It feels modern, is bright, colorful and well-kept. All structures are in great condition. One side includes a firetruck sensory activity area and ride on motorcycle. Two baby swings, two traditional swings, two straight slides (one is extra wide) and a curvy, spiral slide. Many other climbing features, a wide platform, monkey bars and steps onto the main play structure.

The other side includes a spiderweb rope climbing structure, many rope courses with stepping pods, monkey bars, a straight slide and lots of other climbing features. This park is pretty big compared to other neighborhood parks with two separate play areas.

With a mostly sandy playground (there is some rubber flooring), there are not a lot of accessible features. There is an extra wide slide and wide platforms onto some play structures.

There are spots for shades at the playground, including a pavilion with picnic tables underneath providing the most shade. There is definitely shade on/under some of the play structures. Other benches and a picnic tables surrounding the park are not shaded.

Additional Information

- There's a small parking lot.
- There isn't a lot of grassy space right by the playground, though you'll find some further along the walking trail.
