Sternhill Park

Our family liked the variety of equipment at Sternhill Park. The pavilion offers a nice place to have a picnic at the park. We recommend tennis shoes due to the pea gravel.

The equipment features four slides (one large spiral slide, a large straight tunnel slide, a smaller straight slide and a racer slide). The swing set has several swings, including traditional swings, a baby swing, and an accessible swing. Other play features include two cute bouncers (one shaped like a rhino), monkey bars, a little bridge to cross, and an interesting brick play area.

The playground is covered in pea gravel, making mobility difficult, though there are some rubber ground cover at the base of some equipment. There are shady areas on the playground and underneath the playground equipment. There is also a pavilion with picnic tables that offers some shade. The park has numerous trees that offer shady areas, too.
