Saddle Hills Park
Description
This playground is great for high energy kids that like a lot of variety in their play. It has everything from a nostalgic merry-go-round, sand digger, spring car, balance beam, rotating circular monkey bars, racer, curvy, and straight slides, a huge rockwall, imagination play car structure, lots of ladders and climbing equipment, and their iconic fish tunnel. There are both baby and traditional swings as well.
Due to this playground being mostly sand, stairs, and climbing structures, it is not very accessible to those in a wheelchair. There are also no accessible swings. However, there is a paved sidewalk that goes around the playground, along with a paved pavilion next to the playground.
There is a large pavilion that provides shade and picnic table to eat at. There is also a large tree that provides shade to two benches on the edge of the playground. The playground itself has plastic shade covers over top of the main play structure.
This playground is a bit older, but still has a lot of opportunity for fun. I would recommend this playground for more for older kids, as the sand makes an uneven surface for littles, and the equipment is mostly metal and can get hot in the sun.
