Raven Oaks Park

This is a great neighborhood playground. The large playground structure has racer slides and a curvy slide. There are both traditional and baby swings. There are classic monkey bars, climbing ladders, bridges, and a small tunnel under the structure. On the back side of the park, there’s a sand area with a froggy spring toy and sand digging toy.

This is an older playground, so it’s a bit faded and outdated. Since this playground is right along a wooded area, there is tree covering that will provide shade and picnic tables/benches underneath the trees. The main playground structure also has built in shade on it.

I would not recommend this playground for people with accessibility needs. The rubber padding surface is well past it’s prime, with large rips and divots in it. The playground structure is just stairs and narrow walkways, and there are no accessible playground equipment (such as a swing, merry-go-round, activity boards, etc.).
