Oaks Park
Description
Oaks Park is a very small neighborhood park placed close enough to L Street that the roar of traffic is annoying. The park is plain and mostly sand, with a couple of slides, including two racer slides, baby & traditional swings, and one digger. There are basketball courts nearby. There is no shade for the equipment, though benches and a picnic table are in shade. Overall, an unremarkable little park.

- The shops and restaurants at L Street Marketplace may look close on a map but they're not really accessible by foot. But, if you want treats or refreshments, those places are the closest options to drive to, and include a Starbucks, Hardees, and local option for smoothies, Nutrition 402.
