Oakbrook Meadows Park

Oakbrook Meadows has a great mix of play equipment for different ages. There’s a smaller, shorter slide for younger kids, plus two fun twisty slides for the bigger kids. The park also has two different types of climbing walls — a traditional rock wall and another with extra-wide spots for feet, which is perfect for younger kids who are just learning to climb.

One of the coolest parts of this park is the nostalgic ride-on toys. The horses definitely show their age, but that honestly adds to the charm and gives the park a fun, nostalgic feel. Both types of swings are here — baby swings and big kid swings — which is always a win.

There’s also a cute little shelter and a nice trail nearby. The shelter provides a great shade spot. Many trees around the park provide additional shade as well as shade over a couple of benches. If you want to take a short walk while you’re at the park, check out the adorable little bridge close to the playground!

I will say the grounds could use a little weeding and clean-up, but overall it’s still a nice neighborhood park. Just make sure your kids use the bathroom before you go, as there are no restrooms available.
