Mockingbird Heights Park

Mockingbird Heights Park’s playground is a small playground that’s showing a little wear and tear. The main equipment consists of two slides. There’s also a swing set with two traditional swings, and an interesting bouncer for four kids that I’ve never seen before. Some of the items, like the swings and bouncer, were in need of some minor repairs.

The ground cover is a mix of sand and rubber. It’s not a shaded playground, and the main equipment is the only thing that provides true shade when kids are playing. There are several trees nearby, though, and they shade some picnic tables and benches.
