LeBeau Park
Description
LeBeau Park’s playground is perfect size for a toddler or younger child, though has seen better days. The structure itself seems fine but the colors are very faded, paint chipping and some old lingering graffiti. The equipment includes a couple small slides with tunnels to crawl through. There’s also a seesaw and climbing features.
The playground is not shaded. There are trees on the border of the playground that provides some shade, and there is a small pavilion that offers additional shade.
LeBeau Park has two baseball fields and a single-lane batting cage, along with a soccer field where the only porta potty is located. There are also four fenced-in tennis courts. The soccer nets are not fully strung.
The playground equipment feels a bit outdated. There is old graffiti that hasn’t been removed, the seesaw is cracked and likely unsafe, and one of the picnic tables appears broken. Overall, it’s a good option if you’re looking for a wide, open grassy space to play, but it would benefit from some maintenance and updates.
