Lakewood Villages Park

I think this park is amazing for all ages. I think it was one of the cleanest parks that I’ve been. The only thing that would be a Debbi Downer would be the sand and the mulch, which is a mess when combined with each other, but other than that, I think it’s really great. My kids had a great time, and I would definitely go back or even host a summer birthday party there.

The playground has two sections, one for toddlers and one for bigger kids. The equipment in both areas appears to be newer looking. The big kids’ area has three slides and a good amount of climbing options. The slides for the younger kids are shorter and include a pair of racer slides. The playground also includes activity boards, bouncers, monkey bars, and a pair of diggers.

The ground cover is a mix of sand, mulch and some rubber padding at the base of some equipment. There is a lot of shade at the playground, including a pavilion covering some picnic tables and little canopies on the equipment.
