Kirn Park

Kirn Park features a nice playground and open area for kids to run around. The location feels secluded while also being in the middle of town. I like the open grassy area, as well as the track feature. This would be a great place for a picnic. I recommend tennis shoes because of the gravel.

The playground has two slides: One is a partial tunnel and partial open slide. Another slide is straight with a slight curve at the end. The park has a swing set with three traditional swings and one baby swing. There are other fun equipment features, such as a variety of climbing features and monkey bars. The ground cover is pea gravel. There is a full-size track that runs around the outside of the playground, as well as football goal posts in the open grassy area.

The playground equipment is not shaded, though there are spots of shade under the playground equipment. There is also a pavilion/picnic shelter with shade, and nearby trees.

This is not an accessible playground. The main accessible feature is wide platforms on the equipment.
