Description
Karen Park has a small playground that’s fine for young children. There are two slides. It’s a sand playground, with some rubber flooring near the equipment. There isn’t much to it, but it is a nice looking playground. Honestly, the playground at the nearby elementary school is much more enticing to visit.
There isn’t much shade at the playground, though there is a nearby gazebo covering several picnic tables.
The park has a lot in that area, though (and some construction). There’s an outdoor pool, baseball fields, basketball, and it’s near a trail that runs along Little Papio Creek. The trail seems very popular for bike riders.
