John P “Red” Munnelly Park

**Updates coming soon** According to Omaha Parks and Recreation, “Improvements will include removing and replacing the playground with a full rubber surface, adding a new picnic shelter and a connection walkway. The  project is to be completed early Summer.”

Munnelly Park is one of the smallest parks I’ve been to! It’s in a sad state and in need of repairs. There’s plywood covering holes on the equipment. The equipment consists of two playsets side-by-side over sand. There are two slides, one a tube slide the other is straight and metallic. There is also one swing. 

I would not go here with my kids even if we lived in the neighborhood.
