Description

Gilbert Park has a laid-back, neighborhood feel that makes it a fun and slightly adventurous stop for families. One of the highlights is its proximity to the Gilbert Pool, which makes it easy to turn a park trip into a full summer outing. The park itself has plenty of green space, giving kids lots of room to roam.

There’s a charming little bridge over a creek that adds just enough adventure to make kids feel like they’ve discovered something special. It’s the kind of feature that sparks imagination and keeps them playing longer.

The playground is simple but functional, with two baby swings and two regular swings, plus a half basketball court and a small sidewalk trail for bikes or scooters.

There are a few picnic benches, though they’re not in the best shape, and only one standard bench for sitting. There’s also no parking lot and no bathrooms, which means planning is key.

Overall, Gilbert Park is a sweet, low-key spot with a few unique touches that kids will love. It’s not the most polished park, but it has charm—and sometimes that’s exactly what makes a place memorable.
