Hitchcock Park
Description
There’s a lot going on at Hitchcock Park, and the playground is just a small part of it. Park grounds include soccer fields, an outdoor pool, and indoor ice rink, and a lagoon that’s popular for fishing. The sandy playground overlooks the lagoon.
Equipment includes four slides (bumpy, curvy, and racers) as well as two traditional swings. There are also three cute bouncers shaped like a truck, dinosaur and orca. It’s a fairly small and older playground, but well maintained.
There isn’t a lot of shade at the playground itself, but there is a gazebo nearby with two picnic tables in it.
