Hillsborough Park
Description
Hillsborough Park has a large and imaginative playground with fun knight and dragon statues that encourage creative play. The playground offers lots of climbing opportunities and multiple slides ranging from small toddler-friendly slides to larger ones for older kids. A zero-entry ramp makes the structure more accessible. There are swings for all ages, plus a fun dinosaur ride-on toy. The equipment is in good condition. This would be a great playground to bring sand toys to.
The park also features a small splash pad near the parking lot. It’s a little bit of a walk behind the splash pad or you can park on Boyd Street for easier access. A walking trail winds through the park.
The playground equipment provides shade on the ground to play in sand. You’ll find additional shade at the picnic tables under a pavilion and under trees.
