Hefflinger Park
Description
Hefflinger Park is known more for its dog park and dirt bike track than a playground. The playground is one from my childhood, with old-school equipment like a jungle gym, tall swings and tire swing. It’s a fairly large playground, though, with several slides, baby swings, and lots of green space. The large playset has a tunnel to crawl through, plus a swirly slide and tunnel slide.
Hefflinger has a lot of green space near the playground, with very few trees, so there is no shade.

This expansive park is located at Hefflinger Road and West Maple Road, Omaha, Neb. The playground is on the northeast side of the park.

- There is a large parking lot at Hefflinger Park.
- There are no restrooms near the playground.
- The park is near quite a few restaurants, though it's mostly fast food like Runza, Taco Bell, McDonalds and Pizza Hut. There is a La Mesa nearby.
