Garden Street Park
Description
Garden Street Park is a cute, shaded park in a quiet neighborhood. It consists of one main play structure in really great condition. This seems to be a fairly new park. There are two slides, one straight and one curved. There are quite a few climbing structures, including a petal step climber, a levitate climber, a sideways ladder, and a horizontal rope balance beam. Other features include a few interactive play pieces, such as a drum, a spinner, a maze board and a “3-in-a-row” game (similar to Connect 4). There is a water fountain with connected dog water fountain. Note: There are no swings.
Overall, I would say this playground isn’t accessible. The main equipment requires steps/climbing to get on, though there is a drum/sensory spinner on the ground.
While the playground itself offers next to no shade (no canopies/pavilions), it is very shady here. There is a TON of tree coverage, and the sun barely peaks through. There are two benches in the shade, as well.
