Florence Park
Description
Florence Park’s playground is a fairly well-shaded older playground. There are two areas in the playground: The swing set area with two traditional swings and two baby swings and the main equipment area. The main play area isn’t very large, and consists of two slides, two dinosaur bouncers, and an old merry-go-round. Both play areas have a ground cover that’s a mix of sand and rubber.
The park itself covers a city block and includes a large gazebo covering picnic tables. Large trees provide additional shade, including cover for one of the picnic tables.
The park looks nice from a distance but once you’re walking around the green space, there’s quite a bit of litter that’s noticeable.

- There are two large rows of parking on the north and south side of the park.
- The park is across the street from Harold's Koffee House, a great spot for breakfast. It's also near Zesto's, a great go-to for ice cream (whether it's walkable or not depends is up to you).
