Description

The scenery stands out at this park with a bridge connecting two playground areas and shade trees throughout. Lots of fun options on both sides for a wide range of ages. The zipline is a standout feature, combined with multiple sensory play/game options, plenty of things to climb on the two large play structures, tons of slides and many swings. While some equipment appears worn, it’s expansive and perfectly functional for playtime.

Digging down into the features of the play equipment: There are several slides, including one tunnel slide, one large curvy slide, small and medium sized basic slides, 2×2 bumpy slides and 2×2 straight slides. There are a lot of climbing options and sensory features, too.

The main play structures are in good condition but there is an area with ride on/spring toys that appears damaged/more dated. Cross the bridge and there’s another full playground with four baby swings, four traditional swings, a zipline, seesaw, monkey bars, more slides and sensory/game features like a tic tac toe game, megaphones, and pattern board.

It’s not a very accessible playground, other than large, wide platforms at the base of the play structures. The ground cover is a mix of mulch with some rubber padding around equipment.

Tons of shade from trees! Benches under trees and some of the play area is completely shaded. There is a pavilion with picnic tables underneath on one side of the park.
