Benson Lions Park
Description
Benson Lions Park surprised me. It used to be an old, little neighborhood park that you’d drive by and never want to stop. After renovations to the playground equipment, it’s been given a second life.
The equipment still looks new and unlike most other playgrounds in the city. There are unique climbing and balance elements all over. While on the small side, it’s great for a neighborhood park. The flooring is a mix of sand and rubber.
There are only two slides, one of which is for toddlers. The playground also has spinners, and both baby and traditional swings. Trees planted around the playground provide a good amount of shade in the summer. Benches are scattered around the park.
