Applewood Heights Park
Description
Applewood Heights Park is a charming neighborhood park with paved walking paths shaded by large, beautiful trees, making it a great spot to walk your dog, go for a stroll, or simply enjoy the outdoors. There are two tennis courts with new nets and a half basketball court. Picnic tables and benches are spread throughout the park, offering plenty of places to sit, relax, or take in the scenery. It’s also a lovely spot to read outside.
Applewood Heights Park has one playground structure for toddlers and younger kids, and another playground structure for older kids. Both contain age-appropriate slides and climbing features, and the older kid’s playground notably has a small obstacle course to do.. Swings for all ages. Other playground features include monkey bars, stepping pods and a rope ladder.
There’s some shaded areas, thanks to the large trees and small pavilion.
