Kim’s note: This is the fourth installment in a series introducing different voices from around Omaha.
Each weekWhenever I can, I’ll introduce a different Omaha blogger, what his or her blog is all about, and since I love getting recommendations as much as I love giving them, I’ve asked each person to share some Omaha tips. Erin Fairchild has been one of the driving forces behind the Omaha Bloggers community – she was the first to gather the troops for a meetup over two years ago. Hope you enjoy getting to know Omaha bloggers!

Describe your blog in five words. Like a box of chocolates! (You never know what you’re going to get!)
What are the two most popular posts on your blog? What makes them so good?
7 Creative Cotton Gift Ideas for Your 2nd Wedding Anniversary
I think people like good pictures, fun topics, useful ideas, and post that show some heart.
What social media channel are you on the most and why?
It’s a tie between Twitter and Instagram. I love Twitter for the writing and Instagram for the photography!
You get one hour to spend on writing, where in Omaha do you go?
Definitely Culprit. The atmosphere is great and they brew their own Kombucha and have the best breakfast potatoes.
If friends visit from out of town, what three places would you take them to?
Joslyn Art Museum (for the art), Market House (for the food), and Old Market (for the atmosphere).
What’s your favorite free thing to do in Omaha?
This is going to sound so weird but my husband and I love to run 5ks around Regency and point out our dream houses to each other as we exercise. We live in an apartment in downtown Omaha with our cat right now and while we love this season of our lives we like to daydream about the future with a house and kids.

I do love her blog!
I try and buy organic whenever I can. I often wish I lived closer to Whole Foods, but I'm right by No Name Nutrition. It's not as fancy, but at least I can buy some of my stuff there + it's local.
Regency and point is a pretty area. That's not weird to like that spot. ;)
