While the big box stores and online shops have their killer Black Friday deals, locally-owned shops and entertainment venues in Omaha have their own Black Friday sales. Omaha restaurant discounts
- Starting Monday, Nov. 21, at 3p.m. through Sunday, Nov. 27, La Casa Pizzaria will offer 5% off all pizza shipping orders using code BLACKFRIDAY5. All orders placed during the Black Friday Sale will ship on Nov. 29, no exceptions.
- Flagship Commons at Westroads Mall will give a $35 bonus gift card for every $100 purchased in Gift Cards.
- On Friday, Nov. 25, Karma Koffee has the following hourly deals: Get a free 16oz latte with breakfast sammy purchase (5-5:30 a.m.); 30% off all retail (5:30-6 a.m.); gift card deals like Buy $20 Get $5 free, Buy $50 get $10 free, and Buy $100 get $20 free (6-6:30 a.m.); and mug & beans for $20 (6:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., while supplies last)
Discounts or deals at Omaha shops
- Awakenings, 3506 N. 147th St., Suite 101, will have a Black Friday sale on Friday, Nov. 25, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in-store and online. Save 25% off your purchase (excluding books, gift cards and essential oils)
- Found Vintage Market in Benson will have its holiday items 20% off and if you spend $100, you’ll get a $10 gift card.
Entertainment deals in Omaha
- Papio Fun Park has already kicked off its Black Friday Sale. 2023 Year Passes are half-price, so they’re only $75 (reg. $150). The pass starts when purchased and is good until Dec. 31, 2023. Promotion expires Nov. 29, 2022.
- Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium has a Black Friday membership sale beginning at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 23 and ending at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30. Receive 20 percent off when they purchase or renew a Zoo Household or Grandparent Membership in combination with a Lee. G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park Membership (discount offer valid for Zoo and Wildlife Safari Park combination memberships only). A special coupon code must be used online to receive the discounted price during the sale (announced on Nov. 23 at noon).
- There will also be a Black Friday Sale in the Omaha’s Zoo Gift Shop on Friday, Nov. 25, offering 25 percent off merchandise (not including books, animal paintings, calendars, and gift cards).
- Fun-Plex has its annual season pass sale starting on Nov. 25. Season passes will be $94.99 that day (full price is usually $149.99); from Nov. 26-Dec. 25, the season passes will be $104.99. Day tickets will also be discounted: They’ll be $23.99 per ticket from Nov. 25-Dec. 25 (usual price is $34.99).
- TreeRush Adventures at Fontenelle Forest has a Black Friday deal on Season Passes: They’re $299, when regular price is $399. It includes unlimited admission for the Season Pass holder, two comp buddy tickets and a 50% off code for up to 10 guests.
- Omaha Performing Arts (O-pa) will open a short, 84-hour window at ticketomaha.com where patrons can purchase discount or early access tickets to many 22/23 shows (including Broadway). Starting at noon, Nov. 25, through Monday, Nov. 28, at 11:59 p.m., patrons can use code BARGAIN22, while inventory lasts. Over 30 performances at the Orpheum Theater and Holland Performing Arts Center are part of the sale.
- PACE and Chanticleer Theater are offering 50% off tickets to the upcoming production of “The Cemetery Club.” Purchases using promo code THANKFUL50 must be made Nov 25-28.
- Stir Concert Cove will have a sale on Season Passes starting at 8 a.m. on Nov. 25 (online only). Limited quantities and valid for one general admission ticket to each concert in the 2023 series.
Discounts for Council Bluffs & Omaha Hotels
- Rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Southwest Omaha are $69 (usually $99) during the Booking.com Black Friday Sale. Sale ends Dec. 1, 2022.
- Hampton Inn & Suites in Downtown Omaha rooms are $88 (usually $98) during the Booking.com Black Friday Sale. Sale ends Dec. 1, 2022.
- Harrahs Council Bluffs hotel rooms are all 35% off if booked by Nov. 30, and good for travel through October 2023. Use code CYBER22. Must be 21 years or older to book.

Black Friday airfare deals from Omaha
- Southwest Airlines: In previous years, Southwest Airlines has offered 40% off select flights, as well as flights + hotel packages. Keep an eye on the airlines’ offers page for the lates deals. Direct flights from Omaha on Southwest Airlines include Tampa, Phoenix, Houston, Las Vegas and Washington, D.C.
- Alaska Airlines: Alaska Airlines is known for its Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. In the past, they’ve offered 30% of some domestic flights. The airline flies direct to Seattle from Omaha.
