Eagle Ridge Park
Description
Eagle Ridge Park is a great park in a quiet neighborhood. The playground has one large structure, surrounded by a swing set, a climbing structure, diggers, and some springy toys. The main structure is filled with a pair of racer slides, a curvy slide, and a tunnel slide. There are multiple sets of monkey bars (including tradition and arched), as well as a zipline. The structure has a lot of different kinds of ladders, including a curved climber, loop ladder, a chain ladder, and a spiral climber. There is a tunnel, but it is boarded off. There is a half moon rung climber beside the main playground.
The swing set includes four tradition swings, a baby swing, and an inclusive swing. All the equipment appears to be in good condition (aside from the blocked off tunnel), and the park is well maintained and clean.
The playground is mostly sand-covered with some rubber padding by equipment. It is not an accessible playground. The playground itself doesn’t offer much shade at all. There are three pavilions – each with built-in picnic tables. There are a few other picnic tables throughout the park that are not covered.
