Frog Park
Description
Frog Park (AKA Summit Ridge Park) includes two main play structures, swings, a basketball court, a pavillion/gazebo, and a large grass, multi-sport field. The main play structure includes a set of three racer slides, a small traditional slide, and a curvy slide. There is a rock wall, in addition to another climbing structure, traditional steps, and some lily-pad type steps to get onto the actual structure. There is also a set of rotating monkey bars.
Surrounding the main structure are a couple of springy sit-on toys, a spinning chair, and a hand-pedal type feature. Along the perimeter are some interactive activity boards (gears, sign language informational, pictures).
The second of the main structures includes a large springy platform (which can seat multiple children), a hammock, a climbing dome, talk tubes, and a extra-long activity board with drums, spinners, and a noisy wheel with beads. As far as swings, there is one large wheelchair accessible swing off by itself. Then the main swingset includes two traditional swings, a baby swing, and a large handicap-accessible swing. All of the equipment is in great condition as this park was just renovated summer of 2025.
During the summer, the majority of the playground is covered by canopies (unfortunately, these are taken down during the winter and spring). For more shade, there is a large pavilion with picnic tables right beside the playground.
