Copperfield Park

Copperfield Park is located in a beautiful area with lots of open space and an equally nice walking path surrounding the park. There are separate large and small main play structures. There are several slides, including a smaller curvy slide, two large tunnel curvy slides, two smaller straight/slightly curved slides, and one large straight slide.

There are ample swings: Traditional swings, one baby swing, one accessible swing, and two saucer swings. The saucer swings are definitely a hit!

Both pay structures have many climbing features appropriate for different age groups. The hopscotch and four-square area along with a music and animal sound interactive feature are unique additions. The playground has many benches, trash cans and even doggy bag stands throughout. 

There is not a lot of accessible equipment beyond the one swing with a high back. The rubber flooring helps with mobility and provides access to the open play areas.

As far as shade goes, picnic tables under a pavilion offer plenty of shade and there are some shady areas on/under playground equipment. The park has newer trees, so they don’t provide much shade in the immediate playground area. Benches around playground are not under any shade.
