Westin Hills Park

The playground equipment at Westin Hills is in good shape and well spread out. Swings for babies and big kids are on different sides of the park, which is nice and helps keep things less crowded. The chain bridge is a standout feature here since you don’t see that at very many parks, and it adds a fun challenge for kids. The play structure offers both regular slides and a cute tunnel slide, which is always a favorite.

The playground equipment is not shaded, but there is a nice little shelter with tables as well as trees. There are some shaded spots under the equipment, as well. 

When you go to Westin Hills, you do have to park a little ways away and walk down the sidewalk to the park. If you plan to bring a lot of things with you, a wagon would definitely help.

They do have charcoal grills here, so this would be a great park for a cookout. There is a shelter with picnic tables where you can sit and eat, and there are also plenty of grassy areas if you’d rather lay out a blanket. If you’re into basketball, you can take a short walk over to the basketball courts nearby.
